It is one of the most advanced laser devices in the world for removing excess hair.
One of the unique features of this device is the adjustable length of hair and the amount of energy to remove any type of hair and skin.
This laser is a type of solid laser that has a wavelength of 755 nm and is in the range of visible light.
Due to the high absorption of melanin at this wavelength, its special application is the removal of excess hair. This device is equipped with a special cooling system to prevent irritation.

Alexandrite laser technique
Alexandrite laser light (Cynosure or Candela) is absorbed by hair melanin. Light is converted into heat in the hair. This heat is then transferred to the hair follicles. The hair follicles are heated and destroyed by this heat. This is the principle of permanent hair removal. The Alexandrite laser adjustment allows different hair treatments depending on the texture, density, color and depth of the hair. The advantage of the alexandrite laser is its speed in removing different parts of the body.

Alexandrite Laser Session Sequence
The skin should be clean before all laser treatments. The anesthetic cream can be applied about 1 hour before the session to reduce the painful sensation. Before the session, the cream is removed and the skin is dried.
The laser session lasts between 5 and 1h30 minutes, depending on the size of the treated area. After the alexandrite laser session, a healing cream is applied to the treated skin.
Consequences of alexandrite laser treatment
After alexandrite laser treatment, the appearance of redness and peripheral edema is observed almost systematically, which generally disappear in 1 to 2 days.
Feelings of warmth may be present during the first day after treatment.

Please note the following:
1- If you take Rakutan, inform your doctor.
Avoid laser hair removal during pregnancy and lactation.
3 – Avoid peeling, microdermabrasion and… one month before the laser.
4 – If you use tretinoin in the desired location, stop taking it 2 to 4 weeks before the laser.
Avoid sunbathing and solarium for 2-3 months before the laser and during the treatment period.
6- In case of acne, hair loss and irregular period, inform the doctor before the laser treatment.
7- Due to the fact that the laser device is equipped with a cooling system, the use of anesthetic ointment is not recommended.
Note: The only use of anesthetic ointment is a low pain tolerance threshold.
If used, stay on the skin for 30 to 45 minutes and be sure to wash the area thoroughly before performing the laser.
Recommendations after laser hair removal:
1- After performing the laser, use sunscreen or repair cream in the desired place.
2- Do not bathe or wash the desired area for 3 to 5 hours after the laser treatment.
3- After the laser, the skin of the treatment area may become red or inflamed, which disappears after a few hours, and if the inflammation continues after 2 days, inform the clinic doctor.
4- The interval between laser hair removal sessions is determined by the doctor or the operator.
5- After the sessions, more than 70% of the hair will be lost and recharging sessions will be needed in 3 to 6 months.
6- After laser hair removal, avoid shaving the laser area for a week to 10 days.
Recommendations before laser hair removal:
1- Do not use waxing, bandages and shaving creams for 2 to 4 weeks before the laser.
2- 42 to 84 hours before visiting for laser treatment, shave the hair of the desired area.
3- The place before the laser should be completely clean and free of any lotions and cosmetic creams.
4- The duration and number of treatment sessions will vary according to the skin color area, hair color and thickness.
5- The average of sessions is 6 to 8 sessions and the interval between sessions is 3 to 6 weeks.
